Elon Musk’s social media platform X was restored after a brief outage disrupted service for thousands of users in the United States on Sunday, according to outage-tracking website Downdetector.
At its peak, more than 19,000 users reported problems with the platform. The outage lasted for about 45 minutes and was largely resolved by 12:04 p.m. Eastern Time, Downdetector said.
X did not immediately comment on the cause of the disruption.
