Leaders of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum extend floral greetings and heartfelt wishes as they celebrate his birthday by cutting a cake
A joyful, festive and warm-hearted programme was organized by the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum at Basudha Market on Station Road in Chattogram to celebrate the birthday of Mahafuzur Rahman, Central Executive President of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum, former Assistant Police Commissioner of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP), and prominent social worker.
The programme was held on Tuesday evening, featuring cake cutting, floral greetings, exchange of good wishes and expressions of affection. Leaders from the central and metropolitan committees of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum joined the celebration.
The programme was organized under the leadership of Md. Kamal Uddin, Central Secretary General of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum. The leaders present at the event greeted Mahafuzur Rahman with flowers and wished him continued success in his professional and social life. Later, a cake was cut in a festive atmosphere.
Those present expressed their birthday wishes with applause and prayed for his good health, long life, family happiness and prosperity.

Speakers at the event said that Mahafuzur Rahman is not only a former police officer but also a responsible, compassionate and socially conscious individual. Alongside his responsibilities in maintaining law and order during his professional career, his commitment to working for the welfare of people has given him a distinctive position in society.
They said that throughout his long career, Mahafuzur Rahman placed importance on honesty, dedication, a strong sense of responsibility and humanitarian values, earning the trust of colleagues, well-wishers and members of the general public.
Even after retirement, he has remained actively involved in various social and public welfare activities rather than withdrawing from public life.
The speakers also highlighted his active role in the activities of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum concerning the rights of the people of Greater Chattogram, civic problems, development, public interest and various issues related to the overall interests of the region.
The speakers further said that as Central Executive President of the Greater Chattogram Citizen Forum, Mahafuzur Rahman is not merely a responsible leader but also serves as a guardian-like figure for the organization’s leaders and members.
His experience, advice and organizational role are playing an important part in making the activities of the organization more dynamic, they said.
