Bombardier said on Thursday it is in discussions with the Canadian government after U.S. President Donald Trump posted on social media that Washington would move to decertify Bombardier Global Express business jets and impose 50% tariffs on other aircraft manufactured in Canada.

The Montreal-based aircraft maker said it has taken note of Trump’s remarks and is closely monitoring the situation.
