Father’s Day and Fruit Festival held in Chittagong under the initiative of International Vishwatan.

Own Correspondent, Chittagong: The International Bishwatan, a traditional cultural and humanitarian organization of Chittagong, organized a colorful Father’s Day and Fruit Festival-2026. This grand festival was organized on Wednesday, June 24, at the auditorium of the Chittagong District Shilpakala Academy. At the beginning of the program, the organization’s organizing secretary, Nibhu Sen, delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the organization. The program was lively hosted by Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar’s popular presenter Nazma Naju and chaired by Lion Md. Jahangir Alam, convener of the Father’s Day Celebration Committee, humanitarian and business organizer, and Lion Rupam Kishore Barua (former Governor, Lions Club International District 315 B-4, Bangladesh) was present as the chief guest. Haji Md. Nurul Kabir, Bureau Chief of My TV and Editor and Publisher of Weekly Chattabani, delivered an important speech as the main speaker on the main theme of the program. In recognition of his special contribution to society and family, Sufia Noor Foundation founder chairman Md. Abdul Noor was awarded a lifetime achievement award. Several prominent personalities who made significant contributions to social service and were successful fathers were felicitated at the event. Among the felicitated guests were Comilla District Association Chittagong General Secretary Lion Kazi Zahirul Islam. General C&F Service Limited Managing Director Lion Md. Abdur Rahman Khokon. CIP Sheikh Nabi, the best taxpayer declared by the Bangladesh government and founder chairman of Sheikh Foundation. Apexian Md. Musa Alam Khan Chowdhury and Engineer Simanto Barua, among others. Ashar Alo Manobiq Foundation founder chairman Md. Ruhul Amin Salman, Gausia Ahmadia Hefzkhana and Orphanage general secretary Md. Hasan Tarek Chowdhury, Sunrise Social Organization chairman Lion Md. Afzal Khan, SR Solution chairman Saiful Islam Sikder and Ashar Alo Manobiq Foundation joint general secretary Haji Md. Main Uddin were present as special guests to make the event a success. Founder president Naren Saha thanked everyone for attending the event and expressing his gratitude. The current president of the organization, Aparna Chowdhury, called for admission to all departments at Vishwatan Sangeet Niketan, South Nalapara, Sadarghat. An exceptional arrangement was made at the event to provide free medical services under the initiative of health worker Rajib Mallick.
